ABSTRACT

Picking up where the last chapter left off, this one starts by focusing on the elected officials who are responsible for overseeing government and on the political process that puts them in office and allows them to maintain and exercise power. From there it shows how the DOT methodology can apply in a variety of other specialized topic areas (science/medicine, money/business, education, sports, arts/entertainment, travel/leisure, religion) and describes some of the pitfalls and opportunities that appear in each area.
