Note: (i) coinage in reis was abolished in the sixteenth century, but its multiples were retained as a money of account.
(ii) The total revenue figures given here do not necessarily represent the sum of the dízimos and entradas returns. Several other sources of income were also encompassed within this figure, especially during the second half of the century. I have not reproduced these here but they can be obtained by interested scholars from the documents in BNLCP, códice 643, ff. 204-18.
