ABSTRACT

To help you implement your plan to make your dream job a reality, pretend that you are your own client. What advice would you give yourself? What adjustments would you like to make? What plan would you devise to put those changes into action? Phillip McGraw, in his book Life Strategies (1999), suggests looking at yourself as if you were two different people and managing your life as if you were your own client. Thinking of yourself as a “life manager” can give you the perspective to assess how you are doing.
