ABSTRACT

Picture a family mobile, where each person has a separate space yet is delicately held in balance, to form a unit. The mobile is attached to the ceiling. Each person moves freely within a certain range. If a wind comes through, each part of the unit whirls around, as the unit spins. The whirlwind eventually moves toward some sense of equilibrium. Daily living is filled with “windy” times, stirring a range of emotions. Yet there are life events that completely change the makeup of the balance of living.
