CHAPTERS FOUR AND FIVE PRESENT RESULTS AND HYPOTHESES related to the interpersonal techniques used by seven Yoruba Traditional Healers of Nigeria. To realize these goals, this intensive case study

assesses the relationship between seven Yoruba Healers and their clients. I interviewed and/or observed seven male Yoruba Traditional Healers; four herbalists, Drs. Awotayc), AkinQla, Adesanya and Chief Abi6Ia, were 73, 62, 85 and 84 years old respectively in 1994, and three diviners, Chiefs Aworeni (the AdM), AwojQbi and Qlajide were 62, 72 and 73 years old respectively during the same period.
