ABSTRACT
Lawrence Reese was a master craftsman and gentleman architect. He was the youngest son of nine, born in 1864 to Richard and Fannie Reese in Marlboro County, South Carolina. His family farmed and engaged in building and carpentry work in an area called Sand Hills.
