ABSTRACT
Ralph A.Vaughn was the eldest of four children, born to ROSCOE INGERSOLL VAUGHN and Mary Elizabeth Waring Vaughn on April 24, 1907, in Washington, D.C.Ralph Vaughn grew up in the nation’s capital attending its public schools and graduating from Armstrong Technical High School in 1925. His father taught mechanical drafting at Armstrong Tech for forty-seven years.
