ABSTRACT

Space-based intelligence is a field that focuses, during peacetime and hostilities, on the accumulation, analysis, and dissemination of information about the enemy, terrain, or weather in an area of interest. Intelligence analysts conduct information-gathering activities. Strategic intelligence deals with broad issues such as economics or military capabilities. Analysts look at changes in combination with known facts about the subject in question, such as geography, demographics, industrial capacities, and previous intelligence analysis.
