ABSTRACT
Lines of communication are well understood in the context of land and naval forces, in that they are routes for transporting troops, mechanized equipment, ships, or supplies from one location to another. Even in the case of air warfare, air lines of communications are understood as those flight paths used most often for the movement of aircraft that carry personnel, weaponry, or cargo.
