ABSTRACT

Having checked out the questions, a reasonably strict timetable should be adopted in which 30 minutes (plus or minus 2 minutes) are allocated for each question. If 5 minutes are taken at the beginning to read the questions, this will leave about 20 minutes at the end in which to check over the answers and make sure they are complete. With both Preliminary and Diploma theory papers it is most important that the candidate attempts to answer all five questions, even if one or two present problems – a poorly or partially answered question will most probably gain some marks!
