ABSTRACT

The product life cycle (see Figure 5.2) is probably one of the best known concepts in the whole theory and practice of marketing as a business function.

It is not rocket science to understand that every product does actually have a life cycle. It doesn't matter what it is, it has an existence, sometimes a planned existence – sometimes even planned obsolescence.
