ABSTRACT
The balanced scorecard (see Figure 3.1) is a management system developed by Robert S. Kaplan and David P. Norton. The balanced scorecard provides a key link between setting objectives and measuring performance. It is a management system that provides a channel whereby abilities and knowledge held by personnel throughout the organization can be used towards achieving long-term goals.
