ABSTRACT

Corporate planning starts at the very top of the organization. It provides clearly defined objectives for the organization as a whole, which can then be translated down through the hierarchy to each of the business functions, inclusive of marketing, human resources, finance, and the operations departments. In turn, each of these business functions has responsibility to deliver the overall corporate objectives, meeting the corporate mission and corporate vision of the organization. They will also have a key role in ensuring that corporate values are deployed and understood by the internal market.
