ABSTRACT
This guide provides just enough background so the Internet will make sense to you. It will not make you an expert; you do not need to be an expert. The goal is to make the Internet a simple tool so that you will not hesitate to use it for your own benefit. After all, most of you are not experts in the mechanics of a car, but almost all of you know how to drive a car and make use of its benefits. The same analogy applies to the Internet. Although the focus of this book is career development, the tools you learn will apply to any subject of interest.
