ABSTRACT

Sara and George McCune, founders of Sage Publications, Inc. (SPI) wanted to close their eyes on the flight to California. However, a meeting with the board of directors for SPI was scheduled in two days. This meeting would be critical to their earning board approval for a move into India; a move they both believed would prove profitable despite the challenges of doing business in India. Unfortunately, they were not convinced that all of the SPI board members shared their enthusiasm.
