ABSTRACT
“They can give you all the cultural sensitivity lessons and teach you the basic pleasantries of the language, but nothing could have prepared me for this experience!” These were the thoughts going through Richard Albinson’s mind as he took a few moments to reflect on his 5-month stay in Ukraine. Julie Warma, Rich’s partner in his rapidly deteriorating consulting business, adjusted his tie while the beads of sweat rolled down the side of his face. The tramway bumped and rocked as it made its way down the ancient tracks into the downtown district of Dniepropetrovsk, Ukraine.
