ABSTRACT

In 1986, two mechanical engineers, Mike Keeling and Hillar Weinberg, with over thirty years technical consultancy and industrial design experience between them, came to a key decision. Instead of continuing to use their internationally acknowledged expertise in the design of continuous inkjet printing (CIJ) for the benefit of established manufacturers, they would form their own UK based manufacturing company They believed that their preeminent knowledge of the sophisticated technologies, customer needs and market requirements of industrial print users could be translated into producing a family of advanced continuous inkjet printers of a functionality, reliability and ease of use materially better than any existing product currently available on the international market.
