The nature of work

In Chapter 1 we examined the nature of the employment relationship. In this chapter we examine the nature of work and how it has changed in recent years. We examine the scale and nature of recent developments, perceptions of their impact, the inter-relationship between the nature of work and the employment relationship, and associated developments.
