ABSTRACT
As discussed previously the surveyor, on arriving at the property, should extend his initial reconnaissance of the dwelling's surrounding area and its front elevation to a quick but very vital examination of the whole of both inside and outside. From this he can obtain a general feel as to layout, construction and, perhaps, see some of the more obvious flaws, in particular any in connection with the roof.
