ABSTRACT

The interrelationship of tables A valuation student’s knowledge of the interrelationship of the tables is sometimes tested by problems requiring the use of information provided by one particular table to calculate a related figure from another table. A knowledge of the formulae is essential. It can be seen that the amount of £1 [(1+i) n or (A )] is present in each formula:

6 A (1 + i) n

It can also be seen from the above that the six tables fall into three sets of reciprocals: 1 and 6; 2 and 3; 4 and 5.
