Architecture of an AIR Application

AIR application. It is very similar to the process of creating a Flex application, but there are few key differences to highlight. As we have seen in Section 1 we start the new project wizard (“File > New > Flex Project”). We have to pay attention and select “Desktop” instead of “Web” (Figure 4.2). Just this choice will instruct the IDE to set up an Adobe AIR application, by selecting the appropriate compiler and preconfiguring the run and debug tasks.
