ABSTRACT
In this section we describe an Adobe AIR application and its differences with respect to Flex applications. We also describe how to set up an Adobe AIR project and explain the different ways to package an application for distribution. We highlight the capabilities of the Adobe AIR framework, such as reading and writing files, interacting with local databases, and detecting and manipulating storage devices connected to the computer.
