InDesign CS5 is replete with new panels and tools specifically geared toward multimedia and interactive design. In fact, there are two predefined workspaces expressly dedicated to this purpose. In case you’re not familiar with workspaces, they are saved arrangements of panels and customized menu settings that make it easy to switch from one category of task to another with only a click. InDesign CS5 comes with eight different task-based workspaces. You can also create your own, tailored perfectly to your needs. In fact, you’ll be doing just that after you get a brief tour of the panels in the interactive workspace presets.
