ABSTRACT
Video file transfer is the process of transporting video and other content as data files instead of as video streams. Podcasting is file transfer for a specific category of files—those that can be played on an iPod or similar media player. P2P is a technology that can be used for transporting all types of files, but it is most closely associated with both legal and unauthorized copies of video and audio content files. All of these technologies deserve a closer look.
