ABSTRACT
Preproduction involves the organization, confirmation, and scheduling of all elements of production. It is both a foundation and a prerequisite to a smooth, productive shoot. That’s because preproduction is the time for attending to details, and if anything will stop a shoot in its tracks, it’s some silly, perfectly obvious, seemingly minor detail no one bothered to think about in advance.
