ABSTRACT
General aesthetics refers to the broader and often more subtle aspects of the program-tone, pace, and transitions. The subtle nature of these elements does not reduce their importance. Like so many other subtleties under a director’s control, these elements can have a profound impact on the aesthetic quality of any show.
