ABSTRACT
Filmmakers around the world yearn for control over the process of making their films. Some filmmakers live for the preproduction and previsualization stage. The famous director Alfred Hitchcock often remarked that for him a film was finished as soon as the preproduction stage was over and that there was nothing more creative in the process. At least for Hitchcock, all aspects of creativity were exercised during this precious first phase of filmmaking.
