ABSTRACT

In the production process, you will follow four standard stages in the actual shooting

of an electronic field production (EFP): setting up, rehearsing, shooting, and striking.

Setting Up

Assuming you followed the preproduction steps, the first step of the production stage

is to unload the equipment and move it to the first shooting location. A word about

security: Professional video equipment is expensive and looks attractive to thieves.

You must never leave equipment unguarded, and never leave the production vehicle

unlocked. You and the crew move the equipment from the vehicle efficiently to the

first camera setup, unless you use the vehicle as a field control room.
