ABSTRACT
Translation is the technical term for moving an image in X (horizontally) or Y (vertically), but may also be referred to as a “pan” or “reposition” by some less formal software packages. Figure 10-1 shows an example of a simple image pan from left to right, which simulates a camera panning from right to left.
