ABSTRACT
This chapter is a mix of old and new techniques in both Final Cut Pro (FCP) and Photoshop, which editors tell me they enjoy a great deal when I present them in my seminars.
We will look at a special kind of compositing called “traveling mattes.” This involves creating new images based on elements from multiple images. This sounds complex, but you’ve watched these all your life; now learn how to do them.
