ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION Production design involves designing and constructing sets, props, and costumes. The production design team includes the production designer, art director, assistant art director, set designer, and set decorator, as well as prop and costume departments. Production design departments are responsible for the look of the visual elements of the production short of the lighting and shooting of the scene. Production design includes set design, construction, dressing, props, and wardrobe.
