ABSTRACT

For most weddings, whether indoor or outdoor, the two most common camera positions are referred to as the front camera and the back camera, as this indicates their location relative to the guests. The back camera is usually placed at the back of the church or behind the last row of pews or chairs that will be used by the guests. Unless you were able to afford two cameras, you’ll need to find a camera operator who owns their own camera. If you don’t already know a professional videographer who has a camera, you may consider joining your local videographer association and attending their meetings. If you need to purchase a new piece of equipment for use at your next wedding, limit your equipment purchase to one new item. Try to avoid experimenting with more than one new piece per event.
