Hot but Cool: A trio of text tricks: using Paint to write on a word over time, keyframing a slamdown animation, and elementary 3D.

We provide you with a starter composition that already has the marked-up soundtrack in place. You’ll create the titles using the Type tool, and then follow the step-by-step instructions for each text trick, with latitude for you to customize the animations to taste. We’ll wrap up with a quick guided tour of touches we added to the final project, including layering together a pair of background movies and treating the entire composition with a Lens Blur effect.
