ABSTRACT

Introduction If everything was properly thought out and prepared ahead of time (and I’m sure it

was, now that you’ve read this far), shooting interviews should be the easiest part.

If you’ve got a good crew that you trust, you

probably won’t need to worry as much about your

sound and picture. However, if your crew is

inexperienced or (worse) you just showed your

reluctant roommate how to use a mixer or

operate the camera the night before, you better

keep a close eye on the monitor and sound

levels.
