ABSTRACT
Once you have two solid specs under your belt, your next order of business will be to get an agent (see Chapter 25). A good agent will contact various producers and executives and pitch you as a hot new writer who is about to take off. The agent’s goal is to get your work read quickly by people who have the power to hire you. Getting read is the first step to getting produced.
