ABSTRACT

The markets for story ideas are proliferating. Traditional TV venues are expanding into hundreds of channels and networks, running parallel to new formats for content that is introduced into the marketplace-VOD, Blu-Ray, the internet, mobile devices, and video games, to name a few. Add to this an impressive market for such nonbroadcast areas as corporate image and training videos; DVD sales presentations; domestic and global video conferencing; teaching tools in education, medicine, and science; do-it-yourself videos; and satellite media tours. This massive market can only be satisfied by producers and writers with ideas.
