145It's time to investigate one of the most powerful and productive features of Encore—Photoshop integration. This integration between applications streamlines the process of creating menus and buttons. While Photoshop offers the greatest creative potential, both applications use similar methods to create, open, and modify menus and buttons. This is accomplished through the use of layers and layer sets. In this chapter, we’ll take a look at this process in greater detail. We’ll also cover different techniques that can be used to create menus, buttons, motion thumbnails, and subpicture highlights.
