ABSTRACT
The Track Motion and Pan/Crop tools in Vegas provide flexibility and speed for Vegas users. Picture in picture, adding motion to graphics, 3D planar effects, and creating split screens are all very easy and fast operations in Vegas. The Track Motion tool can be applied to just about any project in some form or fashion, splitting screens, creating multiple screens such as in the opening of the Brady Bunch television series, flying titles in or out, or any number of other creative uses. The Bezier Mask tool enables users to cut holes or masks in media to allow other pieces of media to show through or to overlay other media on top of an Event. The opacity of the mask may also be controlled via the Pan/Crop Bezier tool. Opacity, like all other aspects of the Bezier tool, is keyframe-controlled. Track Motion affects the whole of the frame, generally being inclusive of the frame boundary.
