ABSTRACT
In Chapter 2 the outline diagram of an ECU showed the engine speed sensor signal, the oxygen sensor signal, etc., connected to an interface and an ‘analogue to digital’ (A/D) converter. This conversion is required because the computing part of the ECU operates on Os and 1 s that are passed around the data buses.
