Large logic networks

Earlier chapters describe reliable methods of designing combination and sequential logic networks. The designs produced may be implemented as assemblies of small scale integrated circuits (SSI devices); such devices have only a few basic logic gates or bistables in one integrated circuit package. When using SSI devices in a network the limits of real components, described in Chapter 7, must not be exceeded.
