ABSTRACT
The normal procedure is to capture the localizer
first and then the glide slope. The crew select the
ILS frequency on the navigation control panel as
described above. Runway heading also needs to
be sent to the ILS receiver; the way of achieving
this depends on the avionic fit of the aircraft.
