Modern transport aircraft have two VOR systems
often designated left and right; note that airborne
equipment is the same for conventional and
Doppler VOR. Radio frequency (RF) signals
from the antenna are processed in the receiver as
determined by frequency and course selections
from the control panel; outputs are sent to various
displays.
