Demolition and Deconstruction – Hazards and Risk Control

All demolition work must be carried out so as to minimize, so far as is reasonably practicable, the risks to employees and others who may be affected by the work. CDM 2007 applies to all demolition work. The HSE must be notifi ed before work begins if the construction work, including demolition, is to last for 30 days or more than 500 person days are involved.
