ABSTRACT
Adobe Photoshop is a huge program that has been around for many years, and will no doubt be around for many more. It is used by people in lots of different fields, and has undergone constant revision by the makers. There have been at least a dozen different versions to date. Adobe also produces Photoshop Elements, which is much less expensive than the original and has most of the same features. The less-expensive Elements version is aimed at personal users and is a good way to learn the program on a budget. Photoshop is so widely used that most schools have it in their computer labs, so it is not hard to find a copy to work with. Photoshop works great on either Macs or PCs-it really doesn’t make that much difference anymore.
