ABSTRACT

Laser systems provide spectacular effects for a wide variety of productions, from big-budget corporate spectaculars to concerts. The basic concept behind a laser light show is very simple: Using one or more colored, very narrow beams of light (provided by one or more lasers), a pattern or graphical picture is drawn very rapidly-so fast, in fact, that it’s hard for the eye to see the laser dot as it draws the picture or atmospheric effect. These effects typically have been provided as a service by laser companies, and, traditionally, these supply companies custombuild or modify their own systems.
