ABSTRACT

The beginning refers to the introductory page of the portfolio. It may be a résumé, an identification page, an opening title page, a table of contents, etc. The identification page is especially important if your portfolio is being reviewed when you are not in the room; for example, some colleges review portfolios without the applicants being present. Some designers and technicians prefer a portfolio that has a front pocket so they can store a résumé, brochure, or other similar items in it.
