5. Pins. You will need two kinds of pins. Blocking pins are the pins you will use to secure the wig to the head block. I prefer to use quilter’s pins with round heads, but corsage pins can also be used. Th ese are easy to remove from the block when needed, and their round heads do not snag in the hair when you are styling the wig. You will also need t-pins. Th ese are t-shaped pins that are used to secure rollers to the head. For both blocking pins and t-pins, the longest length you can fi nd is ideal.
