ABSTRACT
Companies like the Living Theatre, the Open Theatre and Squat owe their existence to the inspiration of one individual, but for their success they depend upon the collaborative efforts of each member of the company who work together to write, produce and perform every production, bringing to life a theatrical event which has involved the labour of the whole group.
