ABSTRACT

At the time of writing, the DSLR market for underwater enthusiasts is growing strongly. By the time this book hits the streets in 2006, the popularity of certain models may have diminished and others might have taken their place. Whilst Nikon had the monopoly of the underwater film era, it is encouraging to see how Canon has developed into a predominant force with digital SLRs, providing more than one choice for the user. Here are the current leading contenders, in no particular order.
