ABSTRACT
Unknown to me European film stock has a slightly cooler color t o Western Pacific Rim countries. Japanese like their film slightly warmer and as Australia caters to Japanese tourism, warmer film stock is the norm. The E6 line in Australia was geared t o this film stock. The E6 technician immediately said, ‘From England are you, mate?’ - Australians call everybody ‘mate’ even if they have never met you before, a friendly place - ‘Your films a bit cool.’ Certainly was. I didn’t mind the cooler look; however, I did not like the green color where the sun shone on the buildings and the cruise ship.
